A tactical unit from NYPD enters Hamilton Hall on Tuesday evening.

At around 9:00 pm on Tuesday evening, anti-riot police officers from the New York Police Department entered Columbia University's main campus from 114th Street on Broadway and later made their way into Hamilton Hall, which had been occupied by student protesters early in the morning.

Police have made dozens of arrests inside Hamilton Hall, according to video footage shared by NDN live broadcasting the clearing of Hamilton Building. CNN also reported on the arrests.

WKRC-FM, the student radio run by Columbia Journalism School students, reported that police entirely cleared Hamilton Hall around 10:30 pm.

As more and more videos trickled out after media blackout on the campus during the police raid, NYPD left nothing to chance when officers moved from room to room during the clearing at Hamilton Hall.
